How perfect was this week long break in Jackson Hole, with a game drive up to Yellowstone's Old Faithful, a stop at the Buffalo Bill Cody Historical Museum in Cody, Wyoming, and being among the world's best wildlife filmmakers, some who had flown all the way from Kenya to attend the festival in Wyoming. My flights on Delta Airlines from Newark via Salt Lake were uneventful. The outgoing journey on September 25 had only 20 passengers; the return flight October 1 perhaps 35. Yes, it took longer time at the airport because of increased security, plus at Bozeman, Montana and Jackson Hole, it is impossible to be dropped off at some airport entrances as before, and you must detour on foot around the barricades. But the only unpleasant aspect of the journey was being forced to listen to CNN at Newark airport before departure, with all their references to hijacking. Take a good book or listen to the new Bob Dylan album. It's time to get on with life, and it's great to be back in the Big Apple.
