Hello, My name is Brad. I urrently live just outside Chicago and I served in the U. S. Marine Corps as an infantryman. I work with several animal protection groups in my area, am a certified Veterinarian Technician and an Emergency Medical Technician. I want more field work. I wish to work with game wardens to protect the animals from poachers. With my military background I know I can be a great help to Africa's wildlife. If you have any information on this subject please write me back.

Dear Brad What a great idea. Below I list some conservation organizations that I recommend. I think they are doing the best work in East Africa. Many people with private ranches in Kenya pay armed soldiers to defend wildlife on their land. You can learn about the project in Tanzania by looking for the movie "To Walk With Lions." Have you read the book by wildlife vet Dr. William Karesh, "Appointments at the Ends of the World?" Read about the projects of the Wildlife Conservation Society at www.wcs.org Here are the other organizations:. Mkomazi Wildlife Reserve (Tony Fitzjohn)http://www.mkomazi.com/ Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (Daphne Sheldrick)www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org Gallmann Memorial Foundation (Kuki Gallmann)http://www.gallmannkenya.org/ Lewa Downs Conservancy (Ian Craig) www.lewa.org Let me know what happens, and good luck. Delta

Reply From Brad: You don't know how pleased you made me. I contacted a couple of groups but they couldn't help me. By all means please spread the word around about me. Thank you once again for this encouragement. I hope my dreams will finally become a reality. Brad Note from Delta Willis: If anyone has any potential leads for conservation work for Brad, please contact [email protected] and I will forward your note to him.
